Minds in the Water: The Journey from Apathy to Activist

Posted on Dec 6 by SEASONS Magazine

Tonight, Gaviota: The End of Southern California presents an evening of art, music and film. Doors open at 5 p.m., and at 6 p.m., the Arlington Theatre will host a screening of the film Minds in the Water: The Journey from Apathy to Activist, directed by Justin Krumb. It is a documentary that is part of a global awareness campaign dedicated to the conservation of marine animals, following professional surfer Dave Rastovich and his friends on their quest to protect dolphins, whales and the ocean they all share.

It will feature the work of several artists, including Erin Feinblatt, a talented freelance photographer and videographer based in Santa Barbara, and frequent SEASONS contributor. His  work captures the motion and beauty of nature, leaving you breathless and in awe. His photos will be showcased at the screening, in support of the Gaviota Coast Conservancy.

If you love the arts, appreciate nature or have a passion for the environment and global awareness, this screening will be the perfect way to spend your evening!
