Politics aren’t always a favorite topic of conversation, but when the issues of today are commented on by Rachel Maddow, everyone is all ears. UCSB Arts & Lectures will bring Maddow to the Arlington for a lively afternoon discussion this October 7 at 3 p.m.
Rachel Maddow, the Emmy-winning host of MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show, is funny, “whip-smart” (Time magazine) and not afraid to speak her mind. Her television show discusses her views on everything newsworthy, covering all sides of issues, making her show a blast for any party or political leaning. She dives into lively yet respectful debates with guests, providing in-depth analysis and stories on political and non-political issues. Maddow is also the first openly gay person to host a primetime news program.
With her witty remarks and entertaining political insight, this event is sure to leave you in stitches and, at the same time, strangely enlightened. Tickets for this October event go on sale this Saturday, August 25 at 10 a.m. For tickets, click here.
